Hi Kyle, no carry license is required. Most states only require a government issued ID, such as a driver's license. Other states, like NJ and Ill, require the purchaser to have a Firearms ID card.
You most likely can use your state ID when you pick the gun up from your local FFL, just check your state's requirements before you purchase. (Bud's must ship to FFL)
