  • Since the voluntary recall is just that, voluntary is it not still safe in the old style trigger? I would think if it is not then they would make it mandatory. I do not like that they mill the slide for the disconnect to be able to fit. It will actually make this a non modular firearm in which it is supposed to be. If you take a different slide to put on it from another P320 it will have to be milled out to fit if it has been upgraded

  • These are recent manufacture pistols and should come with the upgrade intact. The pistols were deemed still safe by Sig which is exactly why the upgrade is voluntary Roxanne. I agree with the slide aspect but safety should always be of first concern and I'm sure Sig will do right by you since they must own this situation.

  • as far as is it safe sig says it is the upgrade was in response to a question of if it was drop safe. sig just increased the drop safe margin of error with the upgrade

  • Hi Roxanne, Yes the firearm is still safe to use. It's just an upgraded trigger if the customer wants it. I agree on the slide being milled it does take away from the modular aspect.
