You sure can refuse the extra insurance. If this is actually a problem for you to do so when trying to check out, then just give Bud's customer service a call at 1-859-368-0371 9am-8pm EST Mon-Fri for help with your order.

Hi Cary, you can turn down the insurance. On the first page of checkout, right under where you choose your FFL, just check the box that says 'Uninsured - (Bud's not responsible for items lost/damaged in shipping)'
