Buds uses an automatic inventory price update engine that runs every 20mins. Prices are tied directly to stock levels and will change as stock numbers change. As inventory numbers go down, prices go up and vice-versa. Usually when popular items get low in stock.

Also, Buds site updates every 20 minutes so 3 times an hour and with 2 million plus members, a new, popular, hard to find item can potentially be wiped out pretty quickly.
