I have a high point carbine love the factory iron sight id like to co-witness my red dot if anyone has a high point 9 mm carbine and has done so id really like to know how its worked out for you. I am not that good of a shooter I need all the help I can get. I have my marlin set up with an elevated sight so I can look under my scope and use the factory sight works outs great. I was thinking about doing that with the high point as well but there sight really sticks up there ?

The red dot will dominate (draw your eyes to it) with a co-witness of the front sight. It won't be an issue even though you can still see the front sight peripherally.
