Hey Tom, like everyone has said, it would be easiest to go with the MLOK picatinny rail. My personal set up on several of my AR's is the laser/light combo that are pressure sensitive like the one in the link below, but I try to put the pressure switch on a vertical grip near the index finger, so that I can press if I need it or not if I don't. links for both are below.
