Yes.
Yes, the Kimber K6s does feature a safety mechanism. Like many revolvers, the K6s utilizes a traditional internal hammer design with a double-action trigger system. This means that the revolver can be safely carried with all chambers loaded without the need for an external safety switch.

Robert Sir,
It is generally safe to carry with all chambers loaded if the firearm is in a proper holster, your finger remains outside the trigger guard until ready to fire, and you follow safety protocols. So Yes, it is safe to carry the Kimber K6xs with all chambers loaded. As a modern double-action-only (DAO) revolver designed for concealed carry, it features built-in safety mechanisms that prevent accidental discharge unless the trigger is deliberately pulled.
Importantly, The K6xs uses a transfer bar system, a common safety feature in modern revolvers. In this system, the hammer cannot directly strike the firing pin. Instead, a bar must be raised by a full trigger pull to "transfer" the hammer's energy to the firing pin. If the trigger is not pulled all the way, the hammer cannot touch the firing pin, making it drop-safe.
The old practice of leaving a chamber empty under the hammer was for older, single-action revolvers that lacked modern safety mechanisms like the transfer bar. It was necessary to prevent the gun from discharging if the hammer was struck or dropped. This is not necessary with the Kimber K6xs or any modern revolver with an integrated firing-pin safety system.
Hope this helps Sir Robert, please take care and stay safe this long labor day weekend 🙏.
