  • Good afternoon to you!! After Remington went through bankruptcy, its assets were sold to several different companies, and the inventory was separated by division. The firearms brand was purchased by the Roundhill Group, which now operates it as RemArms. Remington Ammunition was acquired by Vista Outdoor. Other brands and assets were sold to companies like Sturm, Ruger & Co. and JJE Capital Holdings.
Firearms: Acquired by the Roundhill Group, the firearms business is now operated as RemArms, with production shifting from New York to Georgia.
Ammunition: Vista Outdoor purchased the ammunition brand and manufacturing plant, and continues to produce Remington ammunition.
Other brands: Several other brands were sold off separately. Examples include Marlin Firearms (to Sturm, Ruger & Co.), Bushmaster (to Franklin Armory), and DPMS Panther Arms (to JJE Capital Holdings).
The inventory and production of Remington products are managed by the new owners of each respective brand, so availability depends on the product line. Hope this helps. Have a good rest of your weekend.

  • Between all the sales and division splits of the company, the inventory might have taken a bit of a hit. Be patient. It'll come back.

  • Hi Luis, After filing for bankruptcy in 2020, Remington's assets, including its brand inventory, were sold to various buyers. The firearms business is now operated by RemArms, LLC, while the ammunition business is owned by Vista Outdoor, which has since announced plans to sell its ammunition companies to the Czechoslovak Group.
The Remington brand's inventory has been restructured under new ownership, with both firearms and ammunition continuing to be produced, albeit in different locations and under new management. The brand remains active in the market, although it faces challenges related to its recent history and changes in ownership.
Stay safe & have a great day!

  • After Remington Outdoor Company's 2020 bankruptcy, its assets were sold to different companies. The Remington brand name and ammunition factory were acquired by Vista Outdoor, which continues to produce and sell Remington ammunition. The Remington firearms business was purchased by Roundhill Group, LLC, and now operates under the holding company RemArms, LLC, which licenses the brand name from Vista Outdoor.
RemArms, LLC: The firearms business, including iconic models like the 870 and 700, is now managed by RemArms under the Roundhill Group. Production has been consolidated in Georgia, and the company is focusing on rebuilding the firearms line.
Vista Outdoor: This company now owns the Remington brand name and the Lonoke ammunition factory. They are responsible for the manufacturing and marketing of Remington ammunition, which remains a strong seller.
Other Brands: Other former Remington brands were sold separately. For example, Marlin Firearms was acquired by Sturm, Ruger & Co., while Bushmaster went to Franklin Armory, and other assets like DPMS and H&R Firearms were purchased by JJE Capital Holdings.
