  • Yes—on most versions of the SIG Sauer P365 equipped with a SIG Sauer ROMEOZero or similar ROMEO optic, you can still use the factory iron sights.

  • Yes, you can use your iron sights with a SIG SAUER Romeo sight installed, but it depends on the exact generation of your pistol slide and the specific Romeo optic model.Newer P365 Slides (Independent Rear Sight): Modern P365 models feature an optic cut where the rear iron sight is entirely independent of the optic plate. This allows you to mount a red dot while maintaining your standard-height iron sights as backups.Older P365 Slides (Integrated Rear Sight): On older P365XL and early P365X models, the rear iron sight was built into the removable optic plate. Installing a RomeoZero on these slides removes the rear sight, meaning you must rely solely on the notch built into the optic's housing.Romeo-X Compact: If you pair your pistol with the low-deck Romeo-X Compact, standard factory sights sit very low in the optic window and can function as co-witnessed backups. To verify exactly how your current setup is configured, you need to know:What is the exact model of your pistol (e.g., standard, XL, XMacro)? Are you using the RomeoZero, Romeo1PRO, Romeo2, or Romeo-X?

  • Hi Thomas and welcome. Depends on which Romeo Sight. The RomeoZero Sight has a built-in rear sight notch on the back of the optic body. When lined up with your standard front sight, you can use it as a backup. The Romeo-X or Romeo1PRO have lower deck heights. They generally allow for an absolute or lower 1/3 co-witness, meaning you can look directly through the glass to see your standard factory sights. Cheers, stay safe and enjoy!
