So is this a pistol or an SBR? I thought the 8 inch barrel models were SBR's but the ad clearly mentions "brace".

Hi Kenneth, This is a pistol. As long as it has a Stabilizer Brace and not a shoulder stock it will be categorized as a standard pistol and not an SBR (NFA) item
