Taurus is a manufacturing conglomerate based in São Leopoldo, in the brazilian state of Rio Grande do Sul. It was a Beretta plant the split away from Beretta in 1980 they make some good guns and some not so good guns. The revolvers, the Pt1911 and the PT 92 are in my opinion their best guns
