On the B.A. question i forgot. The trigger, i like a crisp trigger, like my RUGER AR556 my M&P Sheild 9mm. A crisp trigger, is a must. My dad has a nearly 40 year old M77 .270.

All the bolt guns you’re considering will have a trigger far better than an AR556 or Shield.

Both the Rem 700 BDL and Mauser M18 have crisp triggers with the edge going to the New Mauser M18 James.
