In my B.A. it was a .30-06. With West Texas hunting deer and hogs. Between 06 & .308 taking 100-300+ yard shot's which being the best all around in 150-165 GRAIN BTHP? Thanks Guys.

Out to 300yds in 308 and 06, the hogs won't be able to tell which hit em. End result is dead hogs. i prefer the mid weight 165 to 168gr BTHP's and the 165gr Fed Fusion which are hard to beat price wise and also puts em in the dirt nicely as well.

Really no difference in the performance of .308 and 30.06 the 30.06 is just a "long action round" and the .308 its almost identical in a "short action round"
