  • In my B.A. it was a .30-06. With West Texas hunting deer and hogs. Between 06 & .308 taking 100-300+ yard shot's which being the best all around in 150-165 GRAIN BTHP? Thanks Guys.

  • Really no difference in the performance of .308 and 30.06 the 30.06 is just a "long action round" and the .308 its almost identical in a "short action round"

  • Out to 300yds in 308 and 06, the hogs won't be able to tell which hit em. End result is dead hogs. i prefer the mid weight 165 to 168gr BTHP's and the 165gr Fed Fusion which are hard to beat price wise and also puts em in the dirt nicely as well.
