I have a Ruger A.c. 556F. Will standard mags work ok in them, or do I need something more catered to full auto?

Any mags that feed with the Ruger should work well. I would go with Magpul to be safe or Ruger. That rifle is AWESOME!!!!

Generally there are no special mags for full auto mode. Most quality brand mags made to fit your Ruger and M4/AR15 type rifles will work. Just be aware that there are many cheaply made mags out there that do not have quality mag springs and./or the poor size tolerances which may cause jamming and FTFs.

Magpul or lancer should work.

Stock ruger mags should work just fine.
