Paul if you are going to change the Key-Mod Rail on the M15LTC16 then save some money and get the Defender. If you don't plan on changing the hand guard then get the M15LTC16 as a nice rail is standard. These two rifles are virtually identical so your answer on the hand guard will be your deciding factor as to which you get.
