  • Holy crap! I just got this Glock 29 on Monday from Buds. I shot it for the first time yesterday. I disassembled it to clean it today with no problem. But when I went to lock the slide back in, it won't lock in. I slide it back and it just hits where it should lock in but doesn't lock. If I push the trigger tang thingy forward so that the trigger is reset (ready to fire) then the slide will lock. Not the way it's supposed to be according to the instructions. Brand spankin' new gun. Ideas?

  • Hey Robert, I hope you got it figured out. Sometimes the guide rod and spring are slightly out of place or the trigger bar can block the slide. Hope it's just a simple fix.
