I have a SW 915. Excellent condition. with Box. one magazine. How much should I ask for it? Taking it to a local gun shop to sell

James has the value about right but Local gun shop will not give you a very good value in purchasing the gun lets say the gun is worth $275-$350 you would be looking at the shop offering from around $175- $250 as he needs to be able to move it and make a profit You may do better on a consignment. You will do better with a private sale

Will, in excellent condition, value would be between $275 to $350 without box and papers. ad another $50 to $75 with these items.
