all 1911 parts should be fitted I carry a scar from a Drop in 1911 barrel that came apart on the range next to me

Yes, Nephtali,it should fit fine but even the maker has a note that "Due to variations in pistol dimensions, minor fitting may be required for installation in your 1911".
