Hi Joe, Yes this 1911 comes with the Ed Brown high ride grip Ambidextrous safety

You could always call Dan Wesson, they'll fit an ambi safey to it. I wanted it on my Valor, and they fitted/installed one along with a few extra things for a fairly reasonable price for the parts/labor.
