I have a 1983 charter arms 44 special bulldog 3 inch barrel with pachmyr grips---only fired about 20 times in excellent like new shape, 2 questions----what is the best ammo for this gun to buy now... if I was to possibly sell it---what would the value be. I am the original owner
Thanks

Doug - any commercially manufactured ammunition in 44 special, from a known-name manufacturer will work fine in this revolver. I would look around on the gun auction sites to check prices for used Bulldogs in "Like new" condition, and research this a bit, before I set a price on this revolver. If you know a firearms dealer who will be honest with you, then ask their opinion. The real bottom line is this revolver is worth just as much as you can possibly get for it!.. Ask a bit more than you'd accept .. and then maybe come down a few bucks if necessary.
