Thomas, for whatever reason, most have been discontinued due to poor sales. Popularity was strong at first then waned.

Thomas - like many other 'brilliant ideas' that have just popped into the minds of firearm designers over the years, and then fizzled out about as quickly as they burst upon the firearms scene .. the AR-57 is dying a death of neglect - neglect of buyers to buy them. No firearms manufacturer these days can continue to produce models that only appeal to a slight portion of the consumers for their firearms. We will see some other 'hot ideas' die away as well, once a few get their hands on the 'newest thing since sliced bread' and then find out, for whatever reason(s), it really isn't all it was hyped to be. Check the auction sites, and you might be able to rustle on up.
