Chris C - My experience with the M&P line of AR-15 style rifles is very positive. S&W really tries to build a quality product, I believe, and the examples of M&P AR-15s I've seen support that. I can say I've never seen an M&P 15 have a malfunction of any type. they're accurate, the parts are well fitted, and they are durable. One of my regular shooting friends has one and he has nothing but praise for it. I guarantee you that you could do a lot worse ... and in some cases pay quite a bit more money, and still be worse off. They just work.

The M&P AR 15 rifles are good I love mine

I purchased the M&P 15 back when they were first introduced and I have never had any issues with it. I would say it is a mid-range AR but the price point gives you plenty of room to accessorize/upgrade how you want to.

Chris, This one is a winner. It is an excellent AR given the price point and will stack up with AR's that cost more. It ill take the standard upgrades/accessories without issue and is great quality.
