  • Richard - Honestly, Gold Cups aren't particularly accurate - at least not a great deal. I own a cheaper Rock Island I'll shoot against any Gold Cup, any day. A good shooter with good sound shooting fundamentals will always be more accurate than the high dollar pistols. Usually 1911s with 'National Match" barrels are pretty good shooters. The most expensive 1911s will not be accurate if a poor shooter is shooting them.

  • No firearm specified so I imagine it's a cheaper Colt. The match barrel should be just as accurate as long as the same care was taken fitting it to the gun and it locks up tight. Less money usually means less precision fitting so it may or may not be as accurate.

  • Richard, The Match Grade barrel on any firearm lends itself to being as accurate as possible. Still up to the shooter. The best firearms still don't aim themselves.

  • Richard, the pistol is not specified but, if if has a National Match Barrel, it will be nearly or as accurate as a Gold Cup.
