I think Michael W. answered my question but for James G., I apologize, as I thought the question would attach to the item I was looking at. My question was in regard to the Nikon Prostaff P3 3-9x 40mm Obj 25.1-8.4 ft @100. Other sites defined it as a muzzleloader scope.

This is probably a better choice as it is parallax adjustable. If you wish to shoot at longer distances a scope with parallax set at 100 yards is problematic. />
