  • William, The generally accepted gunsmith revolver specs are: .004~.008" B/C gap with .006" being the optimum. You would have to put a micrometer on your specific Blackhawk since we are dealing with 1000ths of an inch and each is not exactly the same. Sure a great revolver like the Blackhawk is in acceptable range of the B/C gap.

  • Usually .005" to .007". Lead bullets need some space because they are dirty.
