It'll drop one in it's tracks with a cannon ball size hole out the back. I drop them with an AR in .223 and 300 blackout. Shot placement is the key. Shoot one in the guts with a .450 and it'ii run for miles with it's guts dragging behind it.
Shaun, No the 450 Bushy is not too much bullet to harvest a deer. And because of its design the round is a great brush gun that will go through leaves and little branches without veering off like a spitzer shaped round.

Shaun, no Sir it is not. 450 Bushmaster shooting a 250- or 260-grain bullet at about 2,200 fps and will drop a deer with no problem, provided the hunter puts the bullet where it should go. No issues with the proper bullet with bringing home the venison.
