  • I purchased two extra magazines with pinky extension along with a Remington RM380. It came with one flush magazine & one with the pinky extension. The add on magazines came with the extension loose and I cannot get them attached. I have tried several methods including heating the plastic to soften it up. The add on extensions are not identical to the factory units. I can see that the grooves the magazine "bottom" is supposed to slide into is more narrow on the add ons.

  • Sean, Do your pinky extensions have the locking screw on them. Older models had converted 9 mm magazines with spacer to fit the .380 round. You have to loosen that to put magazine over the filler of the extension of turning the 9 mm magazine to fit the .380 round. If no locking screw just carve out the groove a little at a time until they fit. If you have model 96244 they are upgraded and have the true size .380 magazine.
