I'm replacing a 4 inch Range Officer 1911 with a new carry gun. I want to stay with 45acp because I have a lot of ammo stockpiled. Stores near me have nothing, so I can't try anything. I'm looking on Buds site. I'm interested in a Glock 30s for one. I've got a Glock 26 I'm keeping I'm also interested in the Shield 45, but there are so many different types, M&P, 2.0, I don't know what to pick. I want the short (3.3?) barrel. i've got a basic Shield 9 also. I'm mostly a revolver guy. .

since you have the shield I would stay with a S&W Shield 45

I would highly recommend the Sig Sauer 320 ... comes in several grip and barrel sizes. Lots of aftermarket accessories available. Easy to change most every part. Very accurate and durable. Not ammo picky ... they seem to shoot everything. I have four of them ... three 9mm and a .45 . I'm a fan!! Before you buy anything research the Sig 320.

Revolver guy. I used to carry a Smith & Wesson 686 Plus .357 magnum with a 3 inch barrel. The revolver holds 7 rounds. Now, it’s not a “plastic” gun. How about an alloy frame revolver in 45 ACP, since you love 45 ACP?
