Correct ammo for Smith & Wesson11808 M&P 9 Shield M2.0 9mm 3.1
9mm Luger or 9mm Parabellum or just 9mm ammo will work just fine
Kathryn, you can use any factory 9mm ammunition in the Smith & Wesson11808 M&P 9 Shield M2.0 9mm 3.1 up though 147 grains. Unfortunately Buds is currently sold out of 9mm ammunition as are most online retailers. I use Ammo Seek to find real-time vendor stock at ----- https://ammoseek.com/

Any ammo marked 9mm Luger or 9mm Parabellum is for your gun. Get ammo marked FMJ (full metal jacket) for practice and HP (hollow point) for self defense carry. There are some other designs too but these are the most common. Your Shield should also handle +P (high pressure) loads too I believe but they should be used sparingly and really only for carry. You will find bullet weights of 115, 124 and 147 grains … these are the standard and all can be used in your gun. You CANNOT use 9mm Makarov 9mm Russian or, anything marked 9mm Short or .380.
