What is the best 5.56 training ammunition
I shoot a lot of wolf gold (brass cases ) ammo it is great ammo at a low price point
Christopher, standard 55gr FMJ is plenty fine. It is in short supply at the moment but Winchester, Fiocchi, Remington etc works well. budsgunshop.com/product_info.php/products_id/411558796/legend+basic+223+55gr+fmj+basic+100rd+pack

If you're looking purely for cost effective blasting by yourself and not tiny groups in paper, the Tula and Wolf steel cased ammunition will work just fine. Some guns shoot it pretty well. Others shoot it Minute-of-Bad Guy. The 55 grain stuff should work just fine.
It's a bit dirtier than other brands, so make sure to keep up on your cleaning.
