  • 1st the gun has to be legal in CA then you will place it in your cart and go to checkout where you will select a FFL to have the gun shipped to and pay for the gun. when it gets to the FFL you will do the paperwork and pay the FFL his transfer fee (this fee is set by him and normally ranges from $15.00 to $45.00 )CA legal long guns here budsgunshop.com/search.php/type/Firearms_Long+Guns/exclusive/ca/firearm_type/32592

  • Tyler, The process is like any firearm. Find a firearm that is CA state compliant. Put it in your cart. Find FFL out of BUDs list in your zip code. Pay and wait to pick up your transfer at your FFL. Here are a couple ARs that are CA compliant. They are sold out everywhere. Maybe you can find one now you have make and model and UPCs

  • California is the worst state to purchase an AR in. I would recommend spending a little time online researching how to build your own and what California requires. Then contact an FFL dealer and have the lower receiver shipped to them. The rest of the parts you should be able to get shipped to you. There aren't as many options for CA compliant ARs, and the ones that you can find are typically inflated in price because of the requirements. You could build a much better AR that is compliant with CA laws for the same price or cheaper. just my opinion.

  • If it is on the California approved list the process is the same as it is for those of us that live in free states.

  • Tyler, since CA is tough on compliant firearms, you must select a compliant model. The rest is easy, just place it in your Cart, checkout, select your local FFL Dealer for transfer, pay and Buds will process your order and ship to your selected FFL Dealer. Your dealer will contact you when received to come in and do the appropriate paper work. They will charge a fee of between $25 and $45 and once everything is verified, you leave with your firearm. Some guidelines for compliant firearms are here : budsgunshop.com/feeds/state_reg/california_restrictions.pdf
