BudsGunShop.com - Safety on Bond Arms Snake Slayer
-
-
This will have to be answered by a Bond Arms owner, as the factory did not respond to this question. At the gun store last month I checked out a Snake Slayer. Pulling the trigger with the safety on or off, the trigger fell. The salesman nor the manager could figure out why the hammer fell with the safety on. Was the gun defective? This is not covered on the videos I've watched.

The Snake Slayer features a cross-bolt safety. This safety does not lock the hammer. The hammer will still fall with the safety engaged, but the firing pin (in theory) should not be struck. If the trigger is bumped or otherwise pressed, the hammer will fall, without effect....UNLESS that cross-bolt safety has been bumped "off".
