I recently purchased a Winchester 12 ga SXP Black Shadow 4+1 3 inch from Buds. As I was going to break it in at the range this weekend I could only load two 3 inch shells into the magazine and one in the chamber. Do I need to remove the plug from the magazine's spring assembly to realize the 4 shell capacity?

Alan, straight from the owners manual---The Super X® Pump shotgun is delivered with the magazine three-shot adaptor (plug) installed in the magazine, limiting magazine capacity to two shells in compliance with federal migratory bird regulations. If you do not wish to be limited to three shots when it is not required by law, you can remove the three-shot adaptor.
