Why are your prices so high for ammo now?
Ammo prices are high everywhere right now, supply and demand, an influx of new gun owners, panic buying due to world events, and the soon to be attack on our 2nd amendment rights have prices very high.
We here in the community are not buds empire but customers just like you. Hopefully things will get better but it's not likely before summer 2021 maybe longer. Try comparing prices in sites like ammobuy.com to get the best prices.
Due to the high demand, sellers are now putting up high prices for ammo. For lower cost, keep an eye out at physical stores. Also, track Ammo Seek to find ammo prices in real-time. I hope this helps
Supply and demand. People have been buying ammo like they will never get a chance again. Northeast is still shut down. Imports are very slow. Supply is low, and demand is very high.
Gary, with the sustained high demand and low supply, many vendors have much higher prices than normal. I agree a dollar or more a round is not cool. I search for the best online prices at Ammo Seek : https://ammoseek.com/

I know what the theory of Supply and Demand is, I deal with it every day, but I also know the correlation between Supply and Demand and Price Gauging. By its very definition, price gouging happens when a seller increases the prices of goods, services, (or commodities) to a level much higher than is considered REASONABLE OR FAIR. This is usually caused by some EVENT or an unforeseen situation like a war that depletes stock or natural resources need for production. Price gouging may be considered exploitative and unethical in some situations and it can also be seen as ILLEGAL in other situations where the product is considered essential like during a period of emergency. This is why the AG of Texas has filed cases against several on-line 'retailers' for price gauging. Now before all you keyboard commando jump up on your stumps I am not saying that Buds is price gauging, I have bought a laundry list of items from Buds and I have never been disappointed. What I am saying is, AND WHY I ASKED THE QUESTION IS, that the wholesale suppliers, and in some cases the manufacturers, of this ammo, ARE price gauging. And unless these two entities can show an unprecedented rise in raw material or labor rates, they are going to have a really hard time arguing for these prices when it comes to an AG investigation. And whether it is hand sanitizer, toilet paper, or ammo, an increase in price by threefold is not an acceptable response to a low supply.
