  • Is the Browning 3 + 1 300 WSM XBolt Stalker/Black Composite Stock/2 CA compliant? It does not show on the available firearms list when the CA compliance box is checked, however the Browning XBOLT STALKER 300WSM 23SS does. The only difference I could find is one has a stainless steel barrel and the other does not.

  • Mark, yes Sir it is CA compliant. Bolt Rifles do not carry the same restrictions as Semi-Auto Rifles. Buds just needs th do a much needed update to their CA compliant listings. Cheers and stay safe!

  • The only restrictions for bolt action rifles in CA pertain to 50bmg (besides magazine capacity) all other rifle resrestrictions apply only to semi-auto.
    This rifle is CA legal. Some times when an item is added to buds site it doesn't get categorized correctly.
