is there a charge to ship a pistol to an FLL in Alabama and is there tax charged to, Alabama

Ships for free, unless you get the shipping insurance you will have to pay state sales tax on the purchase (which buds will collect) then you'll also have to pay the FFL for a background check and transfer.

Roger, shipping is free for firearms but Buds will charge Alabama State Tax and insurance ($1 per $100 in value) upon purchase. Cheers and stay safe!

You'll have to pay sales tax for your state, and shipping is included in the price. Shipping insurance is extra and costs $1 per 100 (calculated at checkout).

Roger, firearms ship free at Bud's, however they are required to collect any Alabama state sales tax.
