Do I need to get my FLL guy's paperwork and information to Buds prior to doing a layaway or have it to them by the time I make the last payment?

The FFL paperwork needs to arrive before that final payment if you want it to ship promptly. However, I'm sure Bud's will notify you should you forget. Again it will just delay shipment.

(Yes you can do a layaway and provide FFL info later). You would just need to provide FFL info prior to Buds shipping the firearm. You could place a firearm on layaway and provide the FFL info by the time of last payment. Buds will need this just prior to shipping the firearm.

It just has to be there before Buds will ship the gun. "You may also use a local dealer that is not already on our list, however we will require a current copy of your dealer's FFL faxed to us at 1-800-804-5569 or scan/email budsgunshop.com/catalog/contact_us.php?printForm=ffl
