Butler Creek Lula Loader Strip For 223 Remington AR-15/M16
Does the ammo have to be on a stripper clip? Can it be loaded with loose cartridges out of the box?

Adrian, no Sir it does not. Single loose loading is possible but the design works quicker with the stripper clips. Cheers and stay safe!

Yes this can be used without the stripper clips, doesn't work quite as efficiently but will still load, video here (different rand but same features and function)
