  • How does the Ca compliant version of the Ruger PC9 Carbine differ from the one shown on Hickock45?

  • Stephen, the California compliant design prevents the magazine release button from being engaged while fully assembled, locking the magazine into the receiver. To release the magazine from the rifle, the shooter will be required separate the upper from the lower by pulling on an extended (rear) takedown pin with an attached cord to make the process easier. Once the magazine has been released the rifle can be re-assembled and shot once again.   • Edward is correct they have a fixed stock and a 10 round magazine in 9mm that would be models 19101, 19102 19127,19116 and 19117 in 40 S&W 19110 and 19111 https://ruger.com/products/pcCarbine/models.html

  • Stephen, CA compliant has a fixed stock without a pistol grip and 10 rd magazine. It may or may not have a threaded barrel, depending on which model you choose.
