Kevin, the PT99 Taurus has a three-position frame-mounted ambidextrous safety which allows these guns to be carried in classic DA "cocked-and-locked" mode, as well as functioning as a DA decocking lever. The PT92 can also come with this feature depending on the exact models.

I really thought about buying one of these couple years ago but ended up on the Beretta m9a1. Only difference I could find was the 99 has adjustable sights and the 92 has fixed sights.
