I found a website called NY Legar AR15s and they say
"
NY compliant AR15s come in 4 different configurations
Featureless (can accept a detachable magazine but does not have any ‘evil’ features)
Fixed-Magazine (can retain all of the so-called ‘military characteristics’ without the ability to accept a detachable magazine)
Bolt Action (not semi-automatic)
Pump Action (not semi-automatic"

And according to that same website this SW AR15 is NY legal. Id still double check with your local ffl though (internets not the best place for legal advice)

Joey, fixed magazine, yes. Although this magazine is not fixed on this UPC code. Many NY compliant models here : dark-storm.com/new-york/
The way I read it is yes if the gun has a permanently fixed mag it would be legal however I would check with your local FFL as he is the one who should be most up to date on the rules and regulations. and the one putting his license on the line doing the transfer
Joey, that's the way it reads to me (10rd limit), however this gun does not have a fixed magazine.

Ruger AR-556 CO/MD Compliant 223 Remington/5.56 NATO AR15 Semi Auto Rifle
With a fixed mag solution, AR-15 (plus M4 and AR-10) owners may keep their features, such as pistol grips, forward grips, adjustable buttstock, flash suppressor, thumbhole stocks, famously known as “evil features-copied from Google. So yes, sounds like a fixed magazine let's you keep your features. Unfortunately this magazine isn't fixed and buds will not modify a firearm in any way other than removing the magazine to make it state compliant. Hope this helps.
