I have the metro American classic 2 45 can I shoot +p ammo
Bill, you will not have any issues in the Metro American Classic 2 45 with +P ammunition. I would recommend a heavier recoil spring to help mitigate some of the additional recoil/frame battering. Cheers and stay safe! 1911forum.com/threads/american-classic-commander.273531/
Generally, most 1911 manufacturers don't recommend shooting +p ammo in the 1911 platform. That being said, there's a lot of people who shoot +p from metro American classic ii with no problem whatsoever. Have not heard of the gun suffering from problem with +p ammo. I hope this helps!

Yes, the metro American classic can handle +p ammunition. Manufacturers always recommend limited use since it can wear parts out quicker than standard velocity/pressure ammo but unless you're shooting hundreds to thousands of rounds likely never notice a difference vs standard velocity ammo. Hope this helps.
