What’s the difference between p22q and California compliant pistol

Regular model has a threaded barrel and the California model doesn't have a threaded barrel. My wife Carry's a Walther p22 and I've grown pretty attached to it. Great little pistol.

Scott, CA model has a 3.42" Non-Threaded Barrel as CA restricts threaded barrels on Semi-Auto Pistols. Cheers and happy holidays!

non threaded barrel and walther has paid CA to have it tested and put on the approved list
