BudsGunShop.com - Lifetime warranty and upgrades

I bought a new AK. I purchased the lifetime warranty from budsgun. If there were upgrades made to it, and there is an issue with it how does that work? Do I have to return it with the parts that came with it? In my case there was a thread protector that was welded onto the barrel. I want to install a muzzle break on the barrel. Any answers would be highly appreciated.

Unfortunately, sounds like that would be the kind of thing that could void the warranty. Cutting a welded component off of the firearm and fabricating it so that a muzzle break could fit on it.
From Bud's warranty exclusions:
"e. Any and all firearms that have been altered or modified from the manufacturer’s
design in any way or rebuilt subsequent to its purchase by the registered original
owner as solely determined by Buds."
