  • Use standard velocity rounds, lead or copper plated makes no significant difference. Would suggest 40 gr bullets. These old guns were made before the high / hyper velocity rounds so common today.

  • Any version of CCI would be a good choice to use in any .22. Been using it for years with never a failure. Great ammo.

  • I use lead cci mini mags in mine. Seems to work the best for me. The woodsman I have is a first run that I got from my grandad.
