  • I see that some semi-automatic pistols are listed as being "cylinder bore". I am familiar with the term cylinder bore as related to shotguns, and revolvers, but what does it indicate in a semi-auto pistol?

  • John, I've honestly never heard the term applied to semi automatic pistols and can't find a answer. It's very possible it's just a typo.

  • As there is no cylinder in a semi automatic pistol it makes no sense to use the term in reference to them. Was there a reference to twist as part of that reference to 'cylinder bore'?

  • Honestly I looked everywhere to see if I could find an answer besides my initial thought that It still probably just refering to the diameter of the end of the barrel like on a shotgun
