Alan, no the FFL does not get notified, but you do. I always email my FFL the tracking information so He knows I have a package coming. Have a great day!

Alan, no Sir. They will only know when the firearm is received. Out of courtesy, when I receive my tracking info from Buds, I call mu local FFL to alert them of the incoming package. They will contact you either way when received. Cheers and stay safe!

Alan, no, they won't know until they receive the package Wich will include your phone number so they can contact you. I find it best to contact the FFL dealer you plan to use before purchasing so there's no surprises. I also watch my tracking number because not all FFL dealers will contact you when they receive the package, so I watch the tracking number and contact them after it's delivered. Hope this helps.
