I moved to TN from NJ, I live in TN but I still have my NJ ID, I haven’t gotten a TN ID yet. Can I still purchase a handgun in TN as I’m 25 years old?

Christopher, no you must have a state issued ID for TN. All you need is a TN driver's license. It's not like NJ, no applying for and waiting for FID card, no pistol permits, no getting permission from the government to exercise your 2nd amendment right. Congrats on getting out of NJ, TN is one of the best states to reside.
Christopher, no Sir. Only long guns can be purchased across state lines by out of state residents. For handguns you must purchase in your state of residence (ID Wise, TN) as FFl's will only ship to your licensed state of residence for transfer to you. This is Federal Law and FFL Dealers follow it to the T. Cheers and stay safe!

Christopher, unfortunately no, you have to have a state ID with your current address that matches the state you are trying to purchase the gun in. You can get a state ID Pretty quick and easy at your local dmv. Sorry but hope this helps.
