Ammo for S&W 32

I have a S&W 32 that was my fathers when he worked for the Dallas Police Dept in the 50’s and early 60’s. All the ammo I’ve found does not fit. They load ok but the firing pin does not strike correctly. Does anyone know the correct ammo for this piece?

I would take the gun to a good gunsmith and make sure that it is not a problem with the gun ( broken firing pin ,cylinder alignment) He can also tell you what ammo it should be using. It is unlikely but there were .32 rimfires made

Hey we share the same name. 32 Long ammo will work
