Gary, looks like they're just talking about the upper receiver, not the barrel. Most law enforcement grade barrels are shorter to move around in tight spaces easier. Most match grade barrels are long. Since this has a long 24 inch barrel I'd consider this match grade. Buds does have a 16 inch barrel radical firearms AR-15 chambered in 6.5 Grendel for roughly half the price. The 24 inch version is more match grade but For the money you would save buying the 16 inch version you could easily replace the barrel with a really nice match grade barrel in whatever length you want.
